Residing in upstate New York with her husband, children and furry friends, Sarah is a recent BFA graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh in sculpture and digital photography. She has shown in many juried art shows across New York State.  Nature and its unique forms have always been an influence in her work.  Mixed media and classic metals are often used in her creations.  Pulling from manmade objects and combining them with forms of nature to create a new extended version of its former self is often what results.  Life experiences and interpreting their meaning in an abstract way are also used as inspiration when creating objects and taking photographs. The use of color, classic and unusual materials and thoughts of traditional art are pushed and twisted as needed to produce new forms that inspire.  Always pushing herself to try new things is the way she keeps growing her art while keeping the interest of her viewers.

Sarah and her family are also the proud organizers of the Juniper Sculpture Park and the Nature Trail Walk in Cumberland Head, Plattsburgh, New York. There are 40 acres of land both forest and fields in which to explore sculptures while walking on a nature trail.

As you look and walk around you may notice a variety of things, green fields, new and old-growth forest.  The fields of wildflowers and trees provide pollen for bees, the wetlands provide shelter for deer, raccoon, opossum, skunk, and more.  Birds nest up in trees and can take a break from migrating.  Forest bathing is good for our mental health and art allows for conversations to occur in which we can learn more about each other.  Many of these sculptures are from artists near and far sharing their work with you, some are permanent installations others are traveling; a variety of species in their own rite.
